Expansion joints used in FCCU service are some of the most critical and complex types of expansion joints manufactured. The expansion joints are exposed to high temperatures (760 0C/1.400 0F), high pressure, large movement conditions and aggressive media. Great attention and expertise is required in designing the bellows and hardware to ensure the units perform well in service. Failure in FCCU expansion joints during operation can be extremely hazardous to personnel and very expensive to the user. There are no standard FCCU expansion joints and all units are designed specifically for each application.
